Are the storage units accessible with a car or van?
Yes, we have ensured there is adequate space for access with cars and large vans to all the containers.
Do I pay weekly or monthly?
The rent is payable monthly, on the date that you move in. So if you move in on to 18th of a month, then the rent is payable upfront, with your next rent payable on the 18th of the following month.
How does self-storage work?
You rent a storage unit in various sizes based on your needs, and you can access it 365 days a year during the facility's operating hours (7.00am - 7.00pm).
What can I store in a self-storage unit?
You can store almost anything, including furniture, electronics, clothing, documents, vehicles, and more, as long as it's legal and not hazardous.
How much does self-storage cost?
Prices vary depending on location, unit size, and features. Smaller units are generally more affordable than larger ones. Please see our pricing page for more details and current special offers.
Are my belongings safe in self-storage?
Our site is covered by CCTV cameras, access control, a 2m high security palisade fence and rapid response security guards to ensure the safety of your belongings.
How long can I rent a self-storage unit?
Rental terms can vary, but our minimum is only month-to-month on a licence basis, providing flexibility in how long you can rent the unit. However, should you want to commit to longer, we are happy to discuss this.
Can I access my unit anytime?
Access hours are between 7.00am and 7.00pm 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Access outside of these hours can be agreed in advance in extenuating circumstances.
Do I need insurance for my stored items?
It's a good idea to have insurance for your stored items. Any items of value we would strongly recommend you ensure they are adequately covered.
Can I share access to my storage unit with someone else?
You can grant access to others if needed, but you are typically the primary person responsible for the unit and its contents.
Can I upgrade or downsize my storage unit?
Yes, providing there are alternative options available on site, you can upgrade or downgrade as often as you need.
What payment methods do you accept?
Rent is payable via standing order, debit or credit card.
How will I be invoiced?
A VAT invoice will be sent 14 days before the rent is due.
What documents do we require to take a storage unit?
Either a passport or driving licence will be sufficient to complete the agreement. As part of the sign up process, there is an agreement (licence) to sign and you will upload your ID to the online platform to complete this.
What type of locks on the containers?
High security CISA padlocks are used that are designed for containers. These locks have an anti-pick and anti-drill keyway as well as an anti-saw shackle.
